Jay Kriegel is Senior Advisor for the Related Companies, developer of Hudson Yards, the largest project in New York City history with 17 million square feet of residential, commercial and retail space. Previously, for seven years, Kriegel served as President of NYC2012, New York’s bid to host the 2012 Olympic Games, supported by $55 million in private funds. Despite losing to London, the bid spurred an unprecedented array of transformative development projects across the City. In non-profit activities, he also serves on the boards of Prep for Prep, New Visions for Public Schools, ExpandEd Schools, NYU’s Center for Global Affairs, and the Kent Land Trust, and the Steering Committee of the Association for a Better New York (ABNY).
