The first thing I would like to do is say, THANK YOU! This foundation has truly changed my life and there are honestly no words that can explain my appreciation and gratitude. As I am approaching the end of my last semester, I often can’t believe that in a few months I will be a graduate, something at one point in my life I was not sure if I would be able to accomplish. My grades were never the issue it was always the financial part.

It is just so amazing that once the financial hurdle was removed I was able to fulfill my dream, this may seem like such a minuscule thing to some people, but for me, it was a roadblock. I am not going to lie, it has not always been easy to work full-time and go to school full-time, I definitely had to put in work and there were a lot of times when I felt like giving up, but I remembered that finishing school is something I have always wanted. It is true when Soledad says that the mission of the foundation is to put women to and through college and they will make sure that you get across that finish line.

I have received so much support from the foundation, not only monetary but emotional support as well. Being part of this foundation is like being part of a family and that’s what makes this so special and unique. I am truly grateful for this blessing that I received and the opportunities I have been given.
