About PowHERful Scholarships

Our PowHERful™ Scholarships combine financial assistance for tuition, room and board, and textbooks with wrap around services so that each scholar has the comprehensive support they need to graduate college and successfully transition into the workforce.

Each scholarship assists in covering the final year of undergraduate tuition, textbooks, and room and board. It provides a range of wrap-around services during the final year of college and following graduation. These services are tailored to the specific needs of each scholar and may include career placement, healthcare, mentorship, moving and transportation costs, and tutoring.

We offer a select number of scholarships on an annual basis so we can continue providing dedicated and responsive support to each scholar. We are currently revising our application process to ensure accessibility for young women from underserved communities who need flexible support.
